Dr. Bullock’s areas of academic expertise include Community and Public Health Nursing, Leadership, Pharmacology, and the Transition to the Professional Practice role. In addition to her academic role, she coordinates community partnerships in the greater Portland region. Dr. Bullock is highly engaged with the Westbrook College of Health Community and Belonging committee. A Family Nurse Practitioner with over ten years’ experience in advanced practice nursing, Dr. Bullock continues to practice in primary care at Martin’s Point Health Care. She previously worked in the perioperative world as a Registered Nurse. She has just completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Johns Hopkins University with a project focus on cardiovascular risk reduction in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.  She believes that learning is a career long and life long process and she hopes to inspire a passion for building knowledge in her students.
